The articulation is designed for dynamic poses, including a wide range of motion in the legs thanks to a movable skirt armor and a sliding mechanism in the knees for kneeling postures. The mobile suit's visor features a multi-layered structure with clear and silver parts. The Shell Units distributed throughout the body use clear parts and can be modified to simulate the activation of Permet Score Six, recognizable by its bluish glow.

The hand parts have an articulated structure that improves weapon grip. The characteristic shield is composed of multiple GUND-Bits (also known as "gambits" or "bit staves"), which can be separated and attached to various parts of the mobile suit to recreate the "Bit-On Form."

XVX-016 Gundam Aerial
The XVX-016 Gundam Aerial is the protagonist mobile suit piloted by Suletta Mercury in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. Standing 18.0 meters tall and weighing 43.9 metric tons in the series' universe, the Aerial is a mobile suit developed on Mercury that Suletta brings to the Asticassia School of Technology.
Its main armament includes a beam rifle, beam sabers, and a distinctive shield composed of GUND-BITs, a new generation swarm weapon system remotely controlled via the GUND-Format. This technology allows for great versatility in combat, including the ability to detach the GUND-BITs from the shield and attach them to the Gundam's body in the Bit-On Form, or deploy them as independent offensive or defensive weapons. A crucial feature of the Aerial is its ability to activate the Permet Score, which enhances its performance; Permet Score Six is a particularly potent state. Although in the series the Aerial can be equipped with the Mirasoul flight unit, this is not included in this MGSD kit's contents.
