Bandai's Gashapon collectibles division reissues the popular Mobile Suit Gundam MS Mechanical Bust 07 MSN-04 Sazabi, scheduled for the fourth week of June 2025. This release brings back the fan-favorite model from July 2024, delivering exciting news for both Gundam and mecha collectors.

This bust is distributed via the Gashapon format in capsule vending machines in Japan for 500 yen per attempt. For buyers outside of Japan, the product can be purchased through specialized retailers like Hobby Link Japan.
This product features a unique collection structure, consisting of three distinct components, each in its own capsule. This set encourages collectors to acquire all three components for a complete range of display options. The Internal Mechanism acts as the base skeleton, allowing collectors to mount either the colored or clear armor, making the bust's appearance interchangeable.
- Exterior (Color Version): The outer armor that gives the bust its classic appearance.
- Exterior (Mechanical Clear): An alternative transparent plastic armor that allows viewing of the internal structure.

As the seventh installment, the Sazabi joins a prestigious lineup that includes the RX-93 ν Gundam, Gundam Exia, and Strike Freedom Gundam. This release stands as a necessary counterpart to its direct rival from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, the ν Gundam.
History and Specifications of the MSN-04 Sazabi
Developed in U.C. 0093 by Anaheim Electronics for Char Aznable, the MSN-04 Sazabi was engineered to be the ultimate mobile suit for a Newtype pilot. Despite its height of 25.6 meters and heavy Gundarium alloy armor, the mobile suit achieved exceptional agility through an array of high-power thrusters. Its 3,960 kW Minovsky fusion reactor powered a formidable arsenal, including a mega particle cannon in the torso (8.8 MW), a beam rifle, beam sabers, missiles, and six "funnels" (psychically controlled remote weapons).
The Sazabi's most significant technological feature is its Psycho-Frame, a system integrating microscopic psycommu receivers directly into the cockpit's metal frame. This technology creates a near-instantaneous human-machine interface, allowing the pilot to control the mobile suit as if it were an extension of their own body. Char Aznable deliberately leaked this technology to the rival forces so that his adversary, Amuro Ray, would have it in his RX-93 ν Gundam, seeking a final duel on equal terms. This technological event is the direct precursor to the phenomena seen in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn.
