History of the RGM-79 Light-Type Guncannon
This mobile suit is the Federation's main mass-production model in the GQuuuuuuX timeline. Its origin is a testament to the Federation's resilience, developed as an improvised "Plan B" after losing their prototype RX-78-02 Gundam at the start of the war. Unable to create their planned GMs, the Federation used data from the RX-78-01 Gundam and RX-77-02 Guncannon prototypes. The result is this hybrid unit, which combines general combat capabilities with medium-range artillery.
A custom variant for Sayla Mass also exists, featuring a tricolor scheme in homage to the original Gundam and equipped with a Gundam Hammer for close combat.
Close-quarters combat readiness is displayed with the included beam saber accessory.
About Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX
The series takes place in an alternate Universal Century where the Principality of Zeon won the One Year War. Set in U.C. 0085, the plot follows student Amate Yuzuriha, who is drawn into the conflict after the reappearance of the Red Gundam. She ends up piloting the prototype gMS-Ω GQuuuuuuX and joins the mysterious Red Gundam pilot, Shuji, in illegal duels. The scenario is complicated by surviving figures from both Zeon, such as Kycilia Zabi, and the Federation, like Sayla Mass, hinting at a complex conflict between remnant factions.
The complete set includes the mobile suit, rifle, beam saber, and multiple hand parts.
