The Robot Spirits MS-18E Kämpfer ver. A.N.I.M.E.: Features, Accessories, and Release Details [Reissue]
The figure faithfully reproduces the Zeon army insignias and the Cyclops Team emblem.
The Robot Spirits action figure of the MS-18E Kämpfer represents the fearsome assault Mobile Suit used by the Principality of Zeon's "Cyclops Team" special forces unit during "Operation Rubicon," as chronicled in the OVA series Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket. This design, one of the last to receive an official serial number from the Principality during the One Year War, became renowned for annihilating the Federation's Scarlet Team and for its direct confrontation with the Gundam NT-1. The figure accurately reproduces the Zeon army insignias on the body and the Cyclops Team emblem on the left side of the head via direct printing.
Articulation and Design
A key feature of the "ver. A.N.I.M.E." (Action New Imagination Memory Emotion) line is its commitment to both anime-accurate design and advanced articulation. The Kämpfer figure incorporates an internal articulation axis in the chest, allowing the shoulders to move forward for natural, two-handed weapon poses. The leg's range of motion has been verified to ensure optimal posability. Additionally, the Mobile Suit's characteristic mono-eye is movable, enabling adjustments to match the figure's stance.
Armament and Accessories
To deliver a comprehensive experience, the set includes extensive equipment to recreate the Kämpfer's heavy assault loadout. This includes two shotguns (one with a stock), two "Giant Bazookas," two "Sturm Fausts," and a "Chain Mine" that uses a metal wire for free-form positioning. The set also provides two beam sabers with corresponding energy blades, along with holsters that attach to the waist skirts. Various connection pieces are included to mount the Giant Bazookas and Sturm Fausts on the Kämpfer's back and legs.
The included joint parts allow for mounting the Giant Bazookas and Sturm Fausts.
A metal wire is used for the Chain Mine, allowing for dynamic and flexible posing.
Effects and Customization
For enhanced visual dynamics, the set comes with multiple effect parts. It includes a firing effect for the shotgun, a rocket launch effect for the bazookas, and a large explosion accessory. Additionally, six thruster effects (four straight-axis, two curved-axis) are provided, which can be attached to the thrusters on the back, shoulders, chest, and legs. The package is completed by four pairs of interchangeable hands for different poses and a storage deck for these parts.
The full set includes the main body, weapons, effect parts, interchangeable hands, and a storage deck.
