Key Features
This kit is based on the acclaimed 2019 HGCE Destiny Gundam mold, renowned for its advanced engineering that established the "SEED Action System." This design system focuses on recreating the dynamic action poses characteristic of the series. It includes a double-jointed torso for an exceptionally deep forward bend and sliding side skirts that move backward to ensure maximum leg posability. The structure forgoes traditional polycaps, opting for firmer and more durable plastic-on-plastic joints.
The [FINAL BATTLE IMAGE COLOR] version introduces specific aesthetic and material modifications. A key feature is the use of a deep red plastic for the joint parts, simulating the "heat glow" effect the mobile suit emanates when operating at maximum power. The overall color scheme replaces the whites and blues with darker, muted gray tones, lending it a more aggressive appearance. Additionally, all beam effect parts, such as the "Wings of Light," are made with a polarized plastic with an iridescent finish, which changes hue depending on the light angle. This provides a more dynamic and energized look compared to the single-color transparent plastic of previous versions.

ZGMF/A-42S2 Destiny Gundam Spec II
Piloted by a more mature and experienced Shinn Asuka, the Destiny Gundam Spec II is an upgraded version of the original mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. Canonical improvements include a new, more powerful nuclear fusion reactor, which justifies the color change of its Variable Phase Shift (VPS) armor to darker tones. The cockpit was modernized with panoramic monitors and an updated operating system to maximize the pilot's capabilities.
In the final battle of SEED FREEDOM, the Destiny Spec II plays a crucial role. Shinn Asuka single-handedly confronts four elite units of the Black Knight Squad. The tactical decision to replace his beam rifle with the railgun was made to counter the "Fémtotech" armor of his enemies, which was immune to conventional beam weapons. By using the maximum output of its reactor and the "Wings of Light" propulsion system, Shinn generates multiple afterimages to confuse and overwhelm his opponents, achieving a decisive victory in one of the film's most memorable sequences.
