About Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX
The series unfolds in an alternate timeline of the Universal Century, where the Principality of Zeon emerges victorious in the One Year War after Char Aznable captures the RX-78-02 Gundam. Set in UC 0085, the story follows Amate "Machu" Yuzuriha who, along with war refugee Nyaan, becomes involved in clandestine mobile suit duels known as "Clan Battles," piloting the prototype gMS−Ω GQuuuuuuX. The production is a collaboration between Sunrise and Studio Khara, the latter founded by Hideaki Anno, which brings a remarkable quality of animation and a focus on the psychological development of the characters, a hallmark of the Gundam universe.
