Key Features
This model faithfully reproduces the engineering of the MG Gundam F91 Ver. 2.0. The shoulder fins and leg thrusters feature articulated deployment mechanisms. An interchangeable head is included to display the "open-face" mode, simulating heat dissipation or the MEPE phenomenon. The main armament, the two V.S.B.R. (Variable Speed Beam Rifles) mounted on the backpack, are fully articulated and can extend forward.
The kit also features an extension gimmick in the hip joints to expand its posing range. This Harrison Madin version includes new color-molded parts for the yellow sections of the V.S.B.R. and thrusters, enhancing color separation without needing paint. The Beam Shield is recreated with translucent effect parts, and the torso is compatible with an LED unit (sold separately) to illuminate the sensors.

The kit comes with a dedicated display base to recreate aerial combat scenes. Image via P-Bandai.

Mobile Suit Synopsis
The F-91 Gundam was the flagship mobile suit of the "Formula Project," a development program by the Earth Federation's Strategic Naval Research Institute (SNRI). The project's goal was to counteract the era's trend of building increasingly large and expensive mobile suits. The F91 was the answer: a radically smaller, lighter machine that nonetheless delivered performance vastly superior to its contemporaries.
Among its revolutionary technologies were the Bio-Computer, an interface system that fed tactical data directly to the pilot's brain for near-instantaneous reaction, and the V.S.B.R.s, backpack-mounted cannons capable of adjusting megapartical speed to fire either a wide, destructive beam or a concentrated, penetrating one. Another notable feature was the MEPE (Metal Peel-off Effect), a phenomenon where the outer layer of armor peeled away at maximum output, creating mass-bearing afterimages that confused enemy sensors.
The Harrison Madin version corresponds to the unit piloted by this Earth Federation ace in the Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam manga, set in the year U.C. 0133. The distinctive dark blue and yellow color scheme is not for mass production but a customization granted to elite pilots, serving as a visual symbol of their status and skill on the battlefield.
