Responding to the overwhelming success of the film Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM, Banpresto has confirmed the rerelease of two of its most sought-after prize items. The head-shaped speakers of the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam and the Destiny Gundam SpecII will once again be available in entertainment centers across Japan, starting July 17, 2025. These collectibles merge detailed sculpting with the functionality of a wireless speaker, including interactive mechanisms that emulate Mobile Suit functions.

These collectibles merge detailed sculpting with the functionality of a wireless speaker, including interactive mechanisms that emulate Mobile Suit functions, such as deploying panels that reveal the speakers and, for the Mighty Strike Freedom, a front piece that simulates the activation of its "Disruptor" cannon.

This unit represents the ultimate form of Kira Yamato's Mobile Suit in the film, an enhanced version of the original Strike Freedom Gundam equipped with the "Proud Defender" wing unit. A key innovation is its two-seater cockpit, which allows Kira Yamato to handle piloting while Lacus Clyne manages weapon and defense systems. Its design not only retains the ability to engage multiple adversaries but also incorporates new armaments like a physical katana, the "Futsunomitama," and the head-mounted "Disruptor" cannon, engineered to overcome new enemy defense technologies.

The enhancements focus on a superior power plant and a modernized cockpit while retaining its versatile arsenal. Visually, it is distinguished by a darker color scheme. The unit's immense popularity stems from its role in the film, where Shinn Asuka, in a narrative redemption arc, unleashes its true potential in a decisive and heroic combat performance—a moment that deeply resonated with the series' followers.
