Kit Features

The HGUC 1/144 Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort] kit is notable for being the first Gunpla representation of this Mobile Suit in the HGUC series, recreated with entirely new molded parts to faithfully capture its distinctive style. The design meticulously reproduces details such as the crotch-mounted arm and the complex head structure. A key feature is its transformation mechanism, which allows the unit to convert to its Mobile Armor (MA) mode through part-swapping. This process uses a "booster pod" as the core, folds the legs, and replaces the head with a component specific to the MA mode.

The main armament, the "Composite Shield Booster," is a multifunctional piece that can be configured as a rifle approximately 225 mm (8.86 inches) long or as a claw. For the claw mode, a lead wire is included to simulate its deployment at a distance. The wide range of articulation, combined with the transformation mechanism, allows for a variety of dynamic poses, facilitated by the inclusion of a display base.

About the RX-124 Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort]

The RX-124 Gundam TR-6 is a pivotal unit in the narrative of "Advance of Zeta: Under the Titans' Flag" and its sequel, "Advance of Zeta: Re-Boot." Its development represents the pinnacle of the "TR-Series," a Titans project to create modular and versatile Mobile Suits. After the collapse of the Titans at the end of the Gryps War, the project's data and units were recovered and modified by various factions. In U.C. 0088, the TR-6, often called "the ghost of the Titans," reappears on Mars, where remnants of Zeon and Titans deserters continue their conflicts.

The "unorthodox" design of the Woundwort, by mechanical designer Kenji Fujioka, is distinguished by its slender silhouette and unusual legs, reflecting its experimental nature and its ability to transform into a highly functional Mobile Armor.
