Kit Features
The foundation of this model is the legendary inner frame from the MG Zaku II Ver. 2.0, an engineering marvel celebrated for its robustness and revolutionary articulation. Even years after its original release, this internal skeleton remains a benchmark for quality. It enables a high degree of posability, featuring a ball-jointed torso, a shoulder pull-out mechanism for extended arm movement, and exceptional leg mobility.

Mounted on this frame are the parts that define the Garma Zabi custom. The most notable modification is the head, reproduced with a completely new mold to incorporate the four distinctive 40mm Vulcan cannons of the FS-type. The kit also includes a custom Heat Hawk, which is larger and more ornate than the standard version, molded in two colors for precise color separation without painting. The kit's color scheme—a mix of earthy browns, dark greens, and grays—is faithfully rendered in molded plastic. For the final touch, a newly designed sheet of water slide decals is included, essential for recreating the markings of an elite Zeon commander's unit.

The kit includes a large arsenal of iconic Zaku weaponry for various poses. Image via P-Bandai.
Despite its extensive arsenal, it has been noted that the design of the kit's hands makes it difficult to securely hold some of the heavier weapons, such as the 175mm Recoilless Rifle (Magella Top Cannon), which may limit certain dynamic action poses.

About the MS-06FS Zaku II
The MS-06FS Zaku II is a commander-type variant derived from the standard MS-06F, originating from the Mobile Suit Variation (MSV) design line. Its primary enhancement was the installation of four 40mm Vulcan cannons in the head, intended to provide defensive capabilities against missiles and close-range suppressive fire. However, their utility was limited by a small ammunition capacity. Standing at 17.5 meters (approx. 57.4 feet), its general specifications were identical to other Zaku II models of its era. Ironically, despite being known as Garma Zabi's personal unit, he never actually piloted it. The mobile suit saw combat under the command of another officer during the final days of the One Year War in an effort to reorganize Zeon's forces in North America.
This Zaku II variant brings a unique history to the Master Grade line. What are your thoughts on this MSV design? Let us know in the comments below!
