Features

The "Kuroi Ōyoroi" edition stands out with its special finishes. The main armor uses black as the dominant tone. For accents, various armor pieces employ a red chrome plating treatment for a brilliant, mirror-like finish. Other parts, such as the weapon blades, are made with silver metallic injection plastic—a technique that incorporates metal particles directly into the material to give it an inherent shine.

Mobile Suit Overview: Shin Musha Gundam

The Shin Musha Gundam first appeared as a secret unit in the 2007 video game Dynasty Warriors: Gundam. The design was developed by renowned mechanical designer Hajime Katoki, who adapted the pre-existing "Samurai Gundam" concept from the SD Gundam sub-franchise into his signature realistic "Ver. Ka" style. The design merges the engineering of a mobile suit with the aesthetics of traditional samurai armor, specifically the Ō-yoroi of feudal Japan. Components like the helmet (kabuto), shoulder pads (sode), and armor skirts (kusazuri) are direct reinterpretations of historical armor, resulting in a distinctive and robust silhouette that defines the unit's visual identity.

This special edition brings a stunning new look to a classic Master Grade design. What are your thoughts on the "Kuroi Ōyoroi" version? Let us know in the comments below!
