Originally launched in 2024, this product is a comprehensive armament collection that allows modelers to recreate specific moments and loadouts from the original Mobile Suit Gundam series. As a limited-edition item sold exclusively through Bandai's "Hobby Online Shop," this set targets enthusiasts who value historical accuracy in their Gunpla builds. Arsenal Features
Each component in the set has been designed with a high level of detail and a specific narrative purpose.
The Gundam Hammer features a chain that utilizes "Advanced MS Joint" technology, a system of pre-molded joints that allows for fluid, segmented movement. To facilitate dynamic posing, the set includes a dedicated hand-joint piece and an Action Base 7. Additionally, parts are included to convert it into the Hyper Hammer, an upgraded variant with integrated thrusters.

An additional Hyper Bazooka is provided with the explicit goal of recreating the dual-bazooka configuration the Gundam used during "Operation Star One," the final battle at the space fortress of A Baoa Qu.

The inclusion of the Super Napalm, a projectile that attaches to the Beam Rifle, allows for the depiction of equipment seen in the early episodes of the series, demonstrating the set's focus on arsenal completeness.
The Beam Javelin incorporates an "RG original specification": when deployed, it uses a dedicated Beam Saber hilt whose grip extends, adding a mechanical detail that enriches the original design.
Finally, the set contains a Beam Saber effect part with a distinctive curved shape. This piece is designed to emulate the visual aesthetic of the opening video from the 1979 anime series, paying direct homage to the original animation's artistic style.

About the RX-78-2 Gundam
The RX-78-2 Gundam was the culminating prototype of the Earth Federation's "Project V," designed to counter the initial technological superiority of the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War. Its armor, made from a lunar titanium alloy, was capable of withstanding fire from the standard weapons of Zaku IIs. It was the first Mobile Suit to employ portable beam weaponry, such as the Beam Rifle and Beam Sabers, giving it unprecedented firepower. Equipped with a learning computer system that adapted to its pilot's skills, the Gundam proved to be a formidable fighting machine, earning the nickname "White Devil" among Zeon forces.
