Bandai Spirits has announced the re-release of three iconic figures from the ROBOT SPIRITS ver. A.N.I.M.E. line, scheduled for December 2025. This wave includes the legendary RX-78-2 Gundam, MS-06S Char's Zaku II, and the MS-06 Zaku II Mass Production Type—cornerstone pieces that defined the dawn of the Mobile Suit Gundam saga. Pre-orders for these highly sought-after figures will open at participating retailers on July 2, 2025, with each figure priced at 6,600 yen.

The RX-78-2 Gundam is the prototype Mobile Suit secretly developed by the Earth Federation as part of its V Project. During the One Year War, this unit represented a technological and military turning point. Its Luna Titanium Alloy armor and advanced weaponry, including the first operational beam rifle and beam sabers for a Mobile Suit, placed it far ahead of the Principality of Zeon's units.
