Directly from the movie "Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island," comes the model kit of the Zaku High Mobility (Surface Type) piloted by Danan Rasika, a new recruit of the "Southern Cross Corps." This High Grade release faithfully reproduces the distinctive unit with its characteristic camouflage pattern through molding colors and water-slide decals.

Key Features

This model accurately reproduces the head of a standard unit, which is not equipped with the blade antenna. In addition to its unique shield, the waist and leg shapes, which enable hovering movement, have been recreated with precision. The leg joints feature a pull-out mechanism that significantly enhances the range of motion when bending the knees, allowing for more dynamic poses.

The armament, specialized for mid-to-short-range combat, is reproduced with new parts. The Zaku machine gun includes spare magazines that can be mounted on the rear of the waist, and the main weapon can be attached to the backpack using a newly designed joint piece. Two Heat Hawks are included as melee weapons: a stored version that can be mounted on the right waist armor and another in its deployed form. The set also comes with joint parts for an Action Base (sold separately) and a left hand with an open palm to expand posing possibilities. Danan's unit's camouflage pattern is achieved through a combination of molding colors and water-slide decals, allowing for its recreation without the need for painting.

About the MS-06GD Zaku High Mobility (Surface Type)

The MS-06GD Zaku High Mobility (Surface Type) is a custom Mobile Suit used by the Southern Cross Corps in "Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island." It is a Zaku variant deployed after Cucuruz Doan's desertion. Designed for high-speed ground combat, it features added thrusters on the legs and waist, allowing it to move at high speeds via hovering. As its nickname "Brown Southern Cross" suggests, it is painted in a brown camouflage, with both its color pattern and armament differing from one machine to another.
