Bandai Spirits has announced the rerelease of the Altron Gundam, a Mobile Suit variant from the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing series, within its High Grade (HG) model kit line. This version, which reproduces the aircraft's form and its distinctive Dragon Hangs with new molding, will be distributed as an exclusive item through the P-Bandai online store.

Features
This model kit features an advanced articulation system that allows for a wide range of poses. The head and torso are connected by double ball joints, facilitating tilting and turning. The shoulders have a mechanism that allows them to move forward, while the arms, elbows, and knees feature double joints for superior flexibility. The waist can rotate 360 degrees, and the hip axis is movable. The front, side, and rear skirts are articulated to ensure maximum leg posability.

The main armament includes distinctive mechanisms: the Dragon Hang can be converted to its extended mode, and its arms are articulated, in addition to being storable on the shoulders; extension parts are included to recreate a greater reach. The Twin Beam Trident can be wielded by the various included hand parts. The Double Beam Cannon mounted on the backpack is also articulated, allowing for different firing angles. The model is compatible with action bases (sold separately).

Mobile Suit Summary
The XXXG-01S2 Altron Gundam, also known as Nataku, is the upgraded version of the XXXG-01S Shenlong Gundam that appears in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, piloted by Chang Wufei. After the Shenlong sustained heavy damage, the five Gundam scientists secretly used OZ's manufacturing facilities on the Moon to rebuild it and equip it with new weaponry and equipment. Like its predecessor, the Altron specializes in close-quarters combat, but its new weapons grant it enhanced capabilities for ranged combat.
