Features

This model kit is distinguished from a standard Jegan by its numerous newly molded parts and unique color scheme. The plastic is molded in a sand-brown tone with orange accents, replicating the colors of the General Revil units and minimizing the need for painting. Key upgrades include a redesigned head with a side-mounted Vulcan Pod system and an additional sensor; more angular and robust shoulder pads with integrated vernier thrusters; and new leg armor that adds extra thrusters for enhanced maneuverability. The most significant modification is the backpack, which is entirely new, larger, and equipped with additional main thrusters for superior performance. The armament is complemented by a newly designed, larger-than-standard shield that integrates two 4-tube missile launchers, providing considerable projectile firepower.

About the RGM-89A2 Jegan Type-A2

The RGM-89A2 Jegan Type-A2 is a limited production, high-performance variant of the Earth Federation Forces' mainstay mobile suit, the RGM-89 Jegan. It was developed as part of an overhaul of the original design, focusing on an improved propulsion system to achieve superior mobility and response speed. These elite units were exclusively assigned to the orbital fleet's flagship, the *General Revil*. During the events of the Laplace's Box conflict in U.C. 0096, the *General Revil*'s Jegan Type-A2s were deployed to intercept the *Nahel Argama*, demonstrating their superiority over conventional forces. However, even these enhanced machines were outmatched by the overwhelming power of Psycho-Frame equipped mobile suits like the MSN-06S Sinanju.
