Key Features of the Gunpla Kit
The Efreet Schneid kit is distinguished by its primary armament, the Heat Darts. Fourteen of these throwing daggers are included, distributed across the armor: four on each shoulder pad, four on the left forearm, and two on the rear waist. Twelve of these darts are designed to remain attached, while two are optimized for the model to hold, allowing for dynamic combat poses.

Additionally, the kit is equipped with an H&L-GB05R/360mm Giant Bazooka, a long-range weapon commonly associated with the MS-09 Dom, which complements its close-range arsenal. The model's engineering is based on the RE/100 Efreet Custom mold but incorporates a significant number of newly designed parts for the head, chest, forearms, and backpack to faithfully represent the Schneid version.

The History of the MS-08TX/S Efreet Schneid
The Efreet Schneid is the evolution of one of eight prototypes of the MS-08TX Efreet, a high-performance ground combat unit developed by the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War. Although the original Efreet design was superior to the MS-07 Gouf, its production was limited due to its high cost and complexity.
This unit's history is tied to two pilots. It was originally piloted by Doug Schneid, leader of the "Marchosias" Mobile Suit team. After Schneid sacrificed himself in battle to ensure his comrades' retreat, his subordinate, Fred Reber, took command of the Mobile Suit. Over the following years, Reber joined Zeon remnants and continuously modified the unit for guerrilla-style ambush tactics, replacing its original armament with an arsenal of Heat Darts. In honor of his former commander, Reber renamed the Mobile Suit the "Efreet Schneid." Seventeen years later, in U.C. 0096, this machine, despite being an outdated design, proved its worth during the assault on Australia's Torrington Base.
