MS-06S Zaku II Commander Type
The MS-06S Zaku II Commander Type is a limited production mobile suit intended for field commanders. Developed from the standard MS-06F Zaku II, this high-performance machine is significantly more mobile than its predecessor, though also more difficult to pilot. The MS-06S features larger thrusters, increasing its main propulsion power by 30% while retaining the same overall frame size.

To accommodate these upgrades, several automatic control systems from the MS-06F were removed. This reduced overall operability but allowed experienced pilots to disable limiters and push the mobile suit to its structural limits. The MS-06S, most famously piloted by Char Aznable, gained notoriety for its speed—three times that of a regular Zaku—and its crucial role in the Battle of Loum.
Char's Zaku II is a cornerstone of the franchise. What are your thoughts on this classic HGUC release? Let us know in the comments below!
