The HGUC MS-09F/trop Dom Tropen (Kimbareid Forces colors), also known as the Sand Brown variant, is a 1/144 scale model kit released in February 2002. This version of the Dom Tropen features the distinctive sand coloration of the Kimbareid Forces, offering modelers a unique alternative to the standard release and a classic piece of Gundam merchandise.

Features

This kit features an articulated index finger for more expressive posing. A key feature is its versatile weapon storage system: the beam saber can be stowed on the right rear hip joint, and the Raketen Bazooka's ammunition can be mounted on the right side of the rear waist and the left side of the front waist armor. The Sturm Fausts can be attached to the rear waist armor, while the MMP-80/90mm Machine Gun can be mounted on the back using a C-clip part. The machine gun's single magazine is detachable, and a triple magazine part can be mounted on the front waist armor for additional firepower.

MS-09F/trop Dom Tropen

The MS-09F/trop Dom Tropen is a mass-produced mobile suit optimized for ground combat in tropical and desert environments. Derived from the MS-09F Dom Funf, it incorporates key upgrades such as anti-dust air filters, expanded cooling devices, and modular armor to facilitate maintenance in sandy terrains. Despite having lower thruster output than the original Dom, its reduced weight of 44.8 metric tons grants it enhanced maneuverability. The Dom Tropen was manufactured at the California Base on the west coast of North America and saw primary deployment on the North African front, participating in key conflicts like the Battle of Jaburo and the theft of the Gundam "Physalis."
