BREAKING: P-Bandai Reveals MG Gundam Sandrock EW "Armadillo Lizard" – A Heavy Arsenal for the 30th Anniversary

Just when we thought the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing 30th Anniversary celebrations couldn't get any better, Premium Bandai drops a massive reveal to close out the year. The MG 1/100 Gundam Sandrock EW returns, but this isn't the Sandrock you remember from the TV anime.
Bandai has officially unveiled the Armadillo Lizard Equipped version, bringing one of the most formidable designs from the Glory of the Losers manga into plastic reality.
The Breakdown: What is the "Armadillo Lizard"?
For casual fans, this might look like just another bulky armor set, but lore enthusiasts know this is a significant upgrade. The original Armadillo Unit was designed as detachable armor to boost defense and thrust, famously using modified shoulder shields from the WMS-03 Maganac corps.
However, this release features the Armadillo Lizard Unit. According to the official canon, the two front armor pieces are redesigned and the two shoulder shields are replaced with a pair of Sandrock's shields. Additionally, a missile pod with 48 missiles is attached on top of each shield.
This kit is a P-Bandai exclusive re-release of the base MG-149 frame but heavily modified with these new heavy-ordinance tactical units.

Kit Highlights & New Molds
Bandai isn't just reusing old parts here. To capture the "Lizard" configuration, they have introduced several newly molded parts. The star of the show are the Missile Pods; the hatches open and close, revealing warheads reproduced in color-separated plastic, meaning no stickers are needed for the warheads.
The Shield System also features a connection arm with a built-in locking mechanism, essential for keeping those heavy shields stable in dynamic poses. Additionally, a Beam Machine Gun is included as part of the expanded loadout, and a brand new sheet of Katoki Hajime water-transfer decals designed specifically for this Glory of the Losers version is included.

Buying Strategy: How to Secure Yours
Important Note for US/UK Builders: The announcement currently covers the Japan release. As veteran P-Bandai hunters know, the US/International pre-order window usually opens a few weeks to a month after the JP reveal.
However, because this is a Wing 30th Anniversary item, demand will be incredibly high. We expect this to sell out in minutes once it hits the US store.
What you should do right now is not wait until drop day to check your account. P-Bandai USA currently has other Gundam Wing Endless Waltz kits available or in "Waiting" status. It is highly recommended to check the current stock to combine shipping or complete your Operation Meteor team while you wait for the Sandrock drop.
