Pizza Hut x Gundam Wing: The 30th Anniversary "Feast" We Can't Have (But Need)

Just when we thought the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing 30th Anniversary celebrations were strictly about High Grade revivals and Premium Bandai drops, Pizza Hut China has entered the chat with one of the most unexpected—and surprisingly cool—collaborations of the year.

Just when we thought the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing 30th Anniversary celebrations were strictly about High Grade revivals and Premium Bandai drops, Pizza Hut China has entered the chat with one of the most unexpected—and surprisingly cool—collaborations of the year. Forget simple branded cardboard boxes. This promotion involves a full-blown "Anniversary Feast" that comes bundled with exclusive, limited-edition Gundam Universe action figures.

The Deal: Calories & Mobile Suits

This isn't a Happy Meal toy situation. Pizza Hut China is offering a premium combo priced at 459 RMB (approx. $64 USD). The set is designed for sharing (or for one very hungry pilot) and includes:

  • 2 Pizzas
  • 2 Steaks
  • 3 Side dishes
  • 1 Dessert & 3 Drinks
  • THE PRIZE: 1 Exclusive Gundam Universe Figure (Wing Zero or Epyon)

According to the promo material, production is strictly capped at 5,000 units, making these instantly rare collectibles.

The image prominently features the choice between the exclusive Wing Gundam Zero (Pizza Hut Ver.) or Gundam Epyon (Royal Red/Gold Ver.) Gundam Universe figures included with the set.

The 'Anniversary Feast' includes a massive meal and one exclusive figure.

The Figures: A Closer Look

It is important to note that these are Gundam Universe figures—fully articulated, pre-assembled action figures made of ABS/PVC—not model kits. However, the custom color schemes are turning heads.

1. Wing Gundam Zero (Pizza Hut Ver.)

The Wing Zero gets a clean white-and-red makeover. While it retains its classic silhouette, the standout feature (or oddity) is the Pizza Hut logo emblazoned on the shoulder armor and the wing binders. It comes with the Twin Buster Rifle and maintains full articulation for those iconic firing poses.

This variant sports a clean white-and-red livery and uniquely features the Pizza Hut logo on its shoulder armor and wing binders, complete with its Twin Buster Rifle for dynamic poses.

2. Gundam Epyon (Royal Red/Gold Ver.)

This is the one setting social media on fire. The Epyon ditches its dark maroon/purple tones for a striking Vibrant Red and Gold scheme. It looks less like a villain and more like a "Royal Guard" or "Iron Man" variant. It includes the Beam Sword and a fully articulated Heat Rod.

This highly sought-after variant features a vibrant red and gold color scheme, diverging from its traditional dark tones, and includes its iconic Beam Sword and fully articulated Heat Rod.

The "Royal Red" Epyon features a stunning red and gold color palette.

The "Hunger" Alternative: How to Satisfy the Craving

Here is the heartbreaking part for US and UK collectors: This is a China-exclusive promotion. Unless you have a connection in Beijing willing to eat two pizzas and ship a box internationally, acquiring these will be nearly impossible. But don't let the "Sold Out" blues get you down.

If seeing these designs has reignited your desire to build some Gundam Wing perfection, remember that Gunpla does it better than pre-painted figures anyway. While you can't order the pizza, P-Bandai USA currently has actual Gundam Wing Endless Waltz model kits in stock or in "Waiting" status. Instead of spending $65 on fast food, you can secure a Master Grade or Real Grade that will last forever.

Verdict

This collaboration is a fun, bizarre curiosity that proves Gundam Wing's global popularity is still massive 30 years later. While we may not get to taste the pizza, the "Royal Red" Epyon color scheme might just inspire a few custom paint jobs in the community using the RG Epyon.

What do you think? Would you pay $65 for a meal if it came with an exclusive figure? Let us know in the comments!
