Bandai doesn't do coincidences. Just hours after announcing the HGUC Hazel Custom Icarus Unit, Premium Bandai has opened orders for the HG 1/144 Byarlant. Scheduled to ship in May 2026 (just shortly after the Hazel), this kit is technically a "Gundam Base" item being sold via the online channel. But its timing suggests a specific purpose.
